Fangoria Magazine 2

This Fangoria magazine is similar to how we made ours, it includes the side part of inside information for their magazine.

This part of the magazine is most effective because it seperates our film from being the main focus andb advertising films already popular within the horror genre. It further advertises our film when we made ours because they would be buying it for inside scoop into other popular films. The films we chose were what influenced our trailer, Smiley, Saw and The Thing.

The films included inside the magazine are advertised by small pictures on the front left similar to a movie reel. This is effective because it gives a bigger insight into what the magazine is going to include, and allows horror fans to buy the magazine based on other films they are interested in, advertising the new film that is in big on the front cover.

The costumes and make-up is effective in mnaking the girl look creepy and stand out as a character in a horror genre. By staring at the screen it draws the audiance in closer to see the emotion playing on the characters face, one of this kind makes us feel uneasy and therefore we want to know why, and how they ended up this way.

The titles colour changes on this magazine compared to the last that i advertised, i dont think this is effective because baby blue doesn't relate well to the horror genre and it doesn't grab attention compared to the last that i had looked at. This was an earlier magazine to the one i had analysed before which shows the improvement from then to now.
