This is our final animatic for our trailer which we will be filming shortly as we have had issues with the weather concerning our location. It is a shot by shot of what our trailer will look like, and on our film day we will also be taking photos of our characters and locations for our poster and magazine covers which we will be editing to further promote our film. The trailer will be the main priority and then the poster and magazine cover will be edited soon after.
During filming some of the shots may be changed due to preference of certain locations and scene concerning the weather. The animatic is shorter than expected, so extra seconds will be filmed. It is shorter because we are unable to see what exact timing we will use and our choice of music hasn't been decided 100% yet, so all these things considered we need some extra second allowance to fully finish our trailer.
We had created our Animatic on a whiteboard so that we could quickly draw one scene and rub it off to draw the next, this was easier because we included a lot of quick shots which would repeatedly be used but in different angles, we wanted to show this in our trailer.
We started by including what Insitiution we were going to use, Twisted pictures, because we knew that audiances would immediatly recognise that this is a horror genre. This is because Twisted pictures only associates themselves with these films because they have specific editing equipment for the job, making them the most beneficial choice for our trailer for audiances to recognise.
